The design for this Santa Lucia Preserve home was inspired by the owners' beloved memory of a perfect evening spent in a quiet courtyard in Italy where the only sound was running water coming from an ancient fountain. When they first saw this site with a small clearing surrounded by coastal oak trees and a stand of redwood tress, they knew it was the perfect place for a fountain to weave once again its magic spell. And so we created a home that stirred the memory of that special moment.
